Asda shoppers choose to help Rugby’s Hoskyn Centre

THE Hoskyn Centre has benefited from a donation from Asda
Yvonne Bowey, the supermarket’s ‘community life champion’, said: “Each month shoppers vote for three charities in Rugby that can be nominated to receive a gift of £200. During September they chose the Hoskyn Fund.”
The money will go towards maintaining Hamilton House in Bilton Road and its ambulances.
The centre provides day centre for elderly disabled people.
There they can socialise, enjoy entertainment have meals, go on outings, and dispel the loneliness that age and disability can bring.
The centre also offers medical care including occupational therapy and mild palliative treatment,
