Children at Hillmorton primary school have been flipping pancakes as part of a sponsored pancake toss event.
Pupils from years three and four were sponsored by their friends and family to frantically flip pancakes as many times as they could in a minute. Year three teacher Lorna Plumley explained: “A big part of what the children have been learning about lately is enterprise, and by hosting a sponsored event like this the children in years three and four have helped raise money for a mystery trip they’ll be invited to go on this summer. “While they are aware of the trip itself, they don’t know where we’re going to take them.
“The children had a great time practicing their skills with a pan and by the end their older friends and families were joining in too.”
