Rugby FM DJ blindfolded in supermarket tour to help Guide Dogs
Sainsbury’s has hosted a fund-raising event for Guide Dogs, blindfolding staff and Rugby FM’s Jason Moss.
Store manager Dominic Zeal and Paul Floyd of Sainsbury’s head office also took part.
The three were led around the supermarket while blindfolded and had to work around the busy shoppers to collect items from a shopping list.
Mr Zeal said: “From my perspective it showed how difficult it is to do everyday activities like shopping. The day was to raise awareness but also to give an insight into the lives of people who are not only visually impaired, but who have any kind of difficulty.”
Staff have set up collection points for the charity and are continuing work with the charity throughout the year.
