At least four of Rugby’s borough councillors will be standing down at the coming elections. Bilton Cllr Rosamond Pierson is resigning half way through her four-year term for family reasons. Fellow Tories Prue Miller - also from Bilton - and John Owen - from Dunchurch & Thurlaston and Labour Benn Ward member Peter Mooney are not seeking re-election. Two former borough councillors are set to return, Anne Hilditch is standing in Dunchurch and Dunstan Vavasour should become a Bilton councillor.
