InMe in Rugby tomorrow
AFTER months of build-up alternative rockers InMe come to town to put on a show at Rugby’s Vault tomorrow night.
The chart-bothering rock stars are the latest big act to be persuaded to come to Rugby, where they’ll be playing tomorrow (Friday February 22).
It’s been 10 years since InMe released Overgrown Eden, which hit number 15 in the UK album charts in 2003. The InMe of today is a very different animal to that of their 2003 debut album , but their continued evolution has maintained a fiercely loyal fanbase and challenged them further as musicians with the release of every album.
Since then they have released another four successful albums and had four Top 40 singles. They’ve sold out four nights back to back at The Garage in London, as well as packing out the likes of KOKO. InMe have also toured with the likes of Nickelback,Limp Bizkit, Pendulum, Deftones, Serj Tankian, Staind, Feeder and Biffy Clyro.
The Pride is the fifth studio album from the band, and was released just over a year ago. It was awarded 4/5 by Kerrang! and 8/10 by Rock Sound magazine, and described on Twitter as “magnificent” by XFMs Rich Walters.
Support act for the night will be Rugby’s own The Final Chapter who make their return to The Vault in tow of a UK tour and run of successful headline dates. With plans to record their first professional studio EP this year, they’ll be debuting new material at the gig with a bigger and better live set than ever before. If you like your metal heavy and melodic with an energetic live show, this is the band for you.
Tickets, £11 in advance, can be ordered now at vault.ticketleap.com/inme. Doors open at 6pm.
