WHAT IS IT? The walk-through lemur exhibit at West Midland Safari Park

WHAT DO THEY SAY ABOUT IT?

The walk-through lemur exhibit at West Midland Safari Park is located in the African Village, beside an original lake that dates back to the 1800s.

It’s the largest natural woodland lemur walk in the UK and now’s the perfect time to visit before the cold weather arrives.

It’s now home to 20 ring-tailed lemurs, three white-fronted brown lemurs and three red-bellied lemurs - all native to Madagascar. While the animals manage to chomp their way through a considerable amount of fruit, nuts and berries every day, the lemurs are weighed by the safari park once a week to make sure they don’t get too fat.

HOW TO SEE IT

The park is at Spring Grove, Bewdley, Worcestershire DY12 1LF.
