This team of cricketers came to Rugby from Jamaica and its owner Eufred Mittoo says it was taken at Whinfield Rec in the mid 1960s.

He’s not sure if they were playing for the West Indian Club or The Globe pub in Railway Terrace at the time, but remembers they were a good team.

He is pictured fourth from the left on the back row and he can name most of the side, a few of whom still live locally.

On the back row from left are Rupert Mendes, Eufred Leo, Roy Bailey, Eufred Mittoo, Harry, ?, ?, Lloyd Ruddock.

And on the front row from left he remembers are Les, ?, Ashley Vernon and Tate.
