These pretty pupils at Long Lawford Junior School were dressed up for their May Day celebrations in the late 1940s.
The picture belongs to Audrey Munday, who has lived up in Blackpool for the last 32 years after moving from Studland Avenue in Hillmorton, but she kindly brought it in for us on a visit to Rugby.
Audrey Cresswell, as she was then, is third from the left.
The full line up was Lesley Haverson, Frances Memory, Audrey Cresswell, May Queen Ann Humphries, Shirley Matthews at the back, Kay Walden, Cynthia Slater and the only boy on the picture, who is a little bit hidden at the back was Bernard Dodd.
Audrey hopes this will bring back a few memories for several of those pictured who still live locally.
