A SELL-OUT Edinburgh Festival Fringe show is coming to Dunchurch.

Next week prize-winning writer Ginny Davis brings ‘Ten Days... that shook the kitchen!’ to Dunchurch Village Hall.

‘Ten Days... that shook the kitchen!’ tells the story of mother of three Ruth Rich. Put upon by whingeing kids, in-laws and an embarrassing husband, Ruth endures children’s swimming lessons, a run-in with the school secretary and an unforgettable visit to a public loo. Ruth’s life is a car crash, but when she thumps the family motor into the BMW of a dangerously good-looking dad it seems her luck has changed.

Ginny wrote the one woman show when she gave up work to have children. ‘Ten Days...that shook the kitchen!’ is the first in a trilogy of monologues, which sold out at the Fringe in 2008 and 2010.

Ginny will be performing ‘Ten Days...that shook the kitchen!’ at Dunchurch Village Hall on Friday, May 20 at 7.45pm.

Tickets are available from Wanda Fashions, The Green, Dunchurch, or from the box office on (01788) 536489.

They cost £8.50 in advance or 」£9.50 on the door.
