THE last Indie Shindig event will take place this weekend.
The popular live music event will be held at the Bank in Bank Street, Rugby, tomorrow (Friday) night from 8pm until 3am.
There will be four indie bands playing on the night - Hoden Lane, Falling Helicopters, Princes Street and Later Rivals.
Shindig organisers said: “After longer than planned break we’re back, this time with 50 per cent of the proceeds of the night going to local charity Practical Action and 50 per cent going to Birmingham Childrens Hospital with one our employers, HSBC, matching pound for pound, the first £500 of donations.
“Due to work commitments and co-arranger Ben’s wife giving birth to their second child, we’ve decided to put these nights on the back burner as we can’t devote as much time as we’d like to setting up and arranging these events. We’ve really enjoyed them and would like to thank you all for your support on each and every night and hope you’ve enjoyed them as much as we have, putting them on.
“As it’s the last night we’ve decided on a four band event and gained the services of some very talented local (and not so local) acts to give you a night of quality live music and classic indie tunes for one last shindig.”
