A £10,000 community fund is up for grabs in the Caldecott area of Rugby.

Warwickshire county councillors Kam Kaur and Yousef Dahmash, who represent Bilton, Rokeby, Overslade and parts of Eastlands, have put their grant funding together to create a £10,000 pot which will be spent on projects put forward by people living in the area.

Cllr Kaur said: “Yousef and I want to see as many applications as possible come forward for funding for local community projects in Caldecott but would like to ensure that everyone in Rugby is aware that this funding is available wherever they live.”

Cllr Dahmash added: Kam and I have pooled our individual funding to make an even bigger difference to those living in our area.”

Deadline for applications is November 29.
