A 15-year-old boy from Rugby has been charged with manslaughter and arson following the deaths of an elderly couple in a fire last weekend.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear before magistrates in Nuneaton today (Saturday) to face two allegations of manslaughter and two of arson with intent to endanger life. He is also charged with two further arson offences.

Kath and Albert Adams, both 77, died when a blaze in a mobility scooter spread to their home in Harold Cox Place, Rugby, during the early hours of February 27. The couple both later died of their injuries in hospital.
