JAPANESE families have been sampling the best of British life this week during a special homestay programme in Rugby.
Seven children and their mothers are spending their ten-day visit with local families and attending Holly Lodge Nursery, in Fareham Avenue.

Organiser Adrian Knight, who taught English at a Japanese kindergarten for four years, said: "Hopefully this will become an annual event and we can go to Japan too."

The families are also enjoying day trips out.

The mothers and children arrived on Saturday and will be staying until Monday.
