Air ambulance lands in Rugby to help elderly man

The Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance was called to an incident in Rugby on Wednesday after a 70-year-old man fell and injured his head.

The air Aabulance received the call out at approximately 1.15pm. After landing on scene, air ambulance paramedics sedated the patient in order to make the journey to hospital easier.

He was taken to University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire by land ambulance, with air ambulance paramedics accompanying him to continue treatment.
