Budget supermarket Aldi is recalling chocolate sold in its Rugby stores after salmonella was found.

The store has recalled 200g (7oz) packs of Choceur Treasures with a best before date of September 1 2015.

There are Aldi stores in Paddox Close and Central Park, Rugby.

The company said the chocolate was sold in the West Midlands, East Midlands and parts of Lincolnshire.

Anyone who bought the product is asked to return it to the store.

The Food Standards Agency is warning people not to eat the product.

It said no other Aldi products were known to be affected.
