With Halloween creeping up on us, people in Rugby will be pleased to hear there’s a new fancy dress shop in the town centre.

If the name sounds familiar it’s because The Costume Cabin has been in Bilton for the last four years but relocated from the village green to Henry Street earlier this week.

Owner Tracie Gibson runs the business alongside her son Aaron Gibson and their family friend Sophie Pulley.

Speaking of her decision to change locations, Tracie said: “We’ve not felt isolated as such by being in Bilton but we have noticed that people from Hillmorton, Brownsover and parts of Rugby on the other side of town don’t really come to us.

“I think that by moving into the middle of town we will bring in more business from all over Rugby as it’s more of a central location for our customers.

“In the past we have also had customers come to us from Lutterworth and Daventry, so this will be a better location for us overall.”

And she added: “A lot of people in the village have told me it’s a shame to see us move as they’ve loved having us there.

“But they also said they’ll carry on using the shop in our new location, which is great news.”

The Costume Cabin’s new store opened on Wednesday and can be found near to Rugby Theatre.

The shop is open Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 5pm and 10am to 4pm on Saturdays.
