The new shops just keep on coming. Tomorrow, Friday, sees the opening of a new Superdrug store in Elliott’s Field, on one of the biggest shopping events of the year – Black Friday.
To mark the occasion it will open an hour earlier at 8am so shoppers can take advantage of the range of beauty, electricals, fragrances and gifts on offer over the Black Friday weekend as well as weekly star buys and deals.
And the good news is, that as some others have done, Superdrug’s existing store in the Clock Towers Shopping Centre will continue to trade.
The new store has created 30 jobs. As well as all the usual goods, the Elliott’s Field store will also offer beauty services where customers can drop in to have a beauty treatment from as little as £5 for eyebrow threading. There is no need to book an appointment and customers can just walk in for a treatment.
Manager Anely Kallemets said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming customers to our new store in Elliott’s Field.
“We think Superdrug will make an excellent addition to the retail park, and with our beauty services offering, it makes a perfect one-stop shop in the lead-up to Christmas.”
Normal opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 9am to 8pm and Sunday, 11am to 5pm.
