Appeal for female driver to come forward after collision with cyclist in Rugby

Warwickshire Police are appealing for the driver who was involved in a collision on Lawford Road, Rugby, to come forward.

The incident happened on Tuesday, November 3 at 9.30am.

The vehicle involved had been travelling along Lawford Road and turned into Victoria Street after a collision with a cyclist.

The cyclist, a 36 year-old man, received minor injuries and no treatment was required.

The driver is described as a white woman in her 50s and it is thought she was driving a Ford Focus or new Fiesta.

She is reported to have stopped, however she left the scene prior to the arrival of the police without leaving any details.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or who may have information regarding the identity of the driver.
