A baby boy who was seriously injured in a crash on the M6 near Rugby on Sunday has died.
The 13-month-old lost his fight for life at around 4.30am yesterday (Wednesday)in Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
The incident happened on the M6 between junction one and two, when a silver Lexus left the carriageway nearside.
PC David Findon, the investigating officer, said: “This is an extremely tragic incident and our thoughts are with the family. We ask that their privacy is respected at this very difficult time. We continue to appeal for witnesses and wish to establish the circumstances of the collision.”
