A young woman from Binley Woods got her man on ITV’s hit dating show Take Me Out on Saturday night.
Student Bethany Brogden, 19, starred in the latest run of Take Me Out after being single for two years.
She kept her light on for Leeds Metropolitan University student Aran Clayton, 22, in her search for love on the prime-time programme - and was picked.
“I was really pleased to be picked from the line up of 30 girls on the panel,” said Bethany, a drama student.
“It was my aim to have the whole ‘Fernando’s’ experience.”
The couple enjoyed a trip to the pseudonymous island, which is actually at the heart of Tenerife.
“We had a lovely time together,” added Bethany.
“Aran is a good friend and we do stay in touch. He lives in Leeds though so it is a bit of a journey.”
Bethany, who has dreams of being a drama teacher, enjoyed appearing on Take Me Out.
She said: “It’s boosted my confidence and I’ve made a lot of friends with the girls. We are all getting together in Manchester soon.”
Bethany said she is still looking for Mr Right.
