Bilton hairdresser is a cup above the rest

A HAIRDRESSER from Bilton will be joining thousands of walkers in London to raise millions of pounds for charity.

Lynn Headland, who owns Millennium Hair in Bilton, is taking part in the MoonWalk London 2011 with her brother and siter-in-law - Iain and Elaine Enticott.

The trio will walk 26.2 miles through London on May 14 during the night in their Walk to Walk trademark decorated bras.

They will be part of a 15,000 strong crowd of women and men from throughout the UK who will all be taking on the world famous challenging, which will raise more than £6 million in just one night for breast cancer charities.

This is the 13th event of its kind, organised by the Walk the Walk.

Lynn, 40, said: “I just decided I wanted to do something for charity.

“I’ve done various fundraising events at the salon before.

“This is something that’s close to all of our hearts because we all know someone that has battled with breast cancer.”
