RUGBY Borough Council (RBC) is expecting disruption to its bin collections on two days this week due to public sector workers going on strike.

The council is expecting disruption on Wednesday and Thursday this week.

It is expecting to suspend green bin (garden waste and food) collections on Thursday (December 1) in order to allow workers to collect blue-lid bins (recyclables) that were missed on Wednesday (November).

RBC is not currently anticipating any significant disruption to other council services.
