GREEN-MINDED children at a Rugby nursery are taking part in a recycling project.

Youngsters at Blue Windmill Day Nursery in Addison Road have been learning about the benefits of sorting items to be reused in the Don’t Dump it Donate It initiative.

Office manager Ruth Merritt said: “We’ve got a recycling centre centre in pre-school and thought it would be good to do a joint initiative with Rugby Myton Hospice.

“They gave us recycling bags to fill with things like clothes, toys and bric-a-brac.”

Nigel Adams, community fundraiser for Myton Hospice, said each filled bag could be worth £28 to the charity.
