MORE than £2,500 worth of toys have been donated by generous customers of catalogue shop Kleeneze.
They will be brightening up Christmas for young carers in the area who are on Barnardo’s books. The shop, which distributes from Rugby and Lutterworth, asked customers to buy the toys in time for Christmas, and the response was described as “extremely generous” by Kleeneze’s Ian Slade.
He added: “We’ve had a range of toys for all ages donated and we’ve been bowled over with the generosity of our customers and nationally the company has collected over £70,000 worth of toys. I’m delighted because it’s such a worthy cause and I’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who contributed.”
