Wood Farm Brewery & Visitors Centre is staging a Brass Band Entertainment Contest, launching on Saturday.

It takes place at Wood Farm Brewery Visitors Centre at 7pm which will determine the order of play.

The Brass Band Entertainment Contest is being held on May 19, starting at 10.45am until around 3.20pm.

Thereafter, is a performance from the Fine Arts Brass Band Ensemble before the award and prize giving ceremony.

Wood Farm Brewery & Visitors Centre was approached by a local band member of the Burbage Silver Band who asked us whether we would provide a venue for a Brass Band Entertainment Contest. Set on the rural Warwickshire, Leicestershire border, Wood Farm Brewery is an idyllic outside venue for such an event.

The event is being held at Wood Farm Brewery, Coalpit Lane, Willey, Rugby, CV23 0SL. The contest is free to spectators.

There will be a raffle on the day with a donation being presented to Northampton & Warwickshire Air Ambulance (NNWA). All bands competing have already made their donation to NNWA.

The Visitors’ Centre will be open from 9.30am until 9pm. Sunday Carvery is available from 12pm – 4pm and it is advisable to book to avoid disappointment, with refreshments, cobs and snacks being available throughout the day.

To find out the bands order of play people are invited to the launch night on Saturday.
