Burglaries and theft in Rugby

Warwickshire Police have released details of two burglaries and a caravan theft which happened during February.

During the night of Thursday February 16, offenders stole a motor caravan from outside a home in Charlesfield Road. Noises were heard at around 3am and police have suggested they may be connected.

The theft is incident number 35 of February 17.

On Wednesday 15, burglars entered a home in Railway Terrace between 11.30am and 1.30pm through the insecure front door.

Once inside, the offenders carried out a search before making off with two watches and two passports. A male offender was arrested nearby in connection with the incident. This was incident number 179 of February 15.

And on Thursday February 2, offenders entered the rear garden of a home in Longstork Road and then attempted to force open the rear patio door.

Damage was caused to both doors but the offenders failed to get inside and nothing was stolen.

This is incident number 139 of Thursday February 16.
