Subway’s plans bring more jobs

Ambitious plans to increase the number of Subway branches could bring jobs to the town.

James and Andrea Fleck, the development agents for the sandwich company in Warwickshire, want to increase the number of branches in the county from 19 to 29 over the next three years with the addition of seven new franchisees.

There are currently three branches of Subway in Rugby – one in North Street, one in Clifton Road and one at Central Park.

It is the largest restaurant operator in the world. The first Subway opened in Connecticut, USA in 1968.
