Families are invited to an anniversary tea party in Rugby this summer.

On Wednesday, August 3, the Rugby National Children’s Trust (NCT) will be holding the Cheeky Monkey Diamond Jubilee Party at Lawrence Sheriff School, from 10am - 12pm.

Tillie Newnham, of RNCT, said: “This year marks the NCT’s 60th anniversary of providing support to local parents, what better way to celebrate than with a Cheeky Monkey Diamond Jubilee Party?

“Last year’s event raised over £1,000 for charity and everyone had a brilliant time. This year is set to include even more activities and stalls so you don’t want to miss out.”

There will be stalls, entertainment, demonstrations and goody bags and is a £2 donation per family.

Organisers hope it’s going to be the best party yet.

They would like to hear from anyone wanted to get involved or have a stall on the day.
