OVERSLADE House care home has donated £200 to Warwick Myton hospice.

Thanks to generous guests at the home’s Christmas fair a total of £400 was raised, which has been split between the hospice and the residents’ fund.

A spokesman from the home said the cheque was the home’s way of saying ‘thank you’ for the hospice’s on-going support for the home.

“We’ve donated the money in appreciation of the support and quality of care the hospice provides. We would also like to thank everyone who generously supported our Christmas fair and helped us raise so much,” they said.

“The money in the residents fund will go towards organising activities and fun days out for everyone at Overslade.”
