THE sun shone as the scarecrows came out to play in Crick.
Hundreds of people turned out for the Crick Scarecrow Festival on Saturday and Sunday.
Despite a week of rain, the sun managed to shine for a few hours on Saturday afternoon and again on Sunday as visitors enjoyed walking around the village looking at the many scarecrows made by villagers and businesses.
As well as the scarecrows, there was a wide variety of fun for all the family including a folk night and jazz night leading up to the event, a barbecue, a beer tent, live music, vintage tea rooms, stalls, games, donkey rides, a circus, an inflatable slide and a bungee trampoline.
Now in its fourth year, organisers work hard all year round to make it bigger and better each time.
It raises money for good causes and charities both in the village and nationally.
