PUPILS at Long Lawford Primary School have been putting their extreme survival skills to the test.
They were visited by four Gurkhas from Gamecock Barracks in Bramcote on Friday as part of their studies.
Head teacher Rob Morrissey said: “We redrafted our curriculum to make it as memorable and enriching as possible for the children, so the children have helped us plan that.
“They wrote to the Gurkhas and invited them to the school - they said they were delighted to come.”
He said pupils enjoyed getting hands-on and gained a lot from the visit.
“The children gave the visit 11 out of ten,” added Mr Morrissey.
