Rugby Library is hosting a range of free activities this summer using artifacts and historical themes from the Heritage and Culture Warwickshire collection.
Organisers are urging parents to book soon as places look set to fill up quickly.
Incredible Earth takes place on Wednesday, August 5, from 10am–11.30am.
Young visitors will be able to find out some amazing facts and records about the planet such as what makes earthquakes happen, where the tallest mountains are and how the rocks beneath our feet tell a fascinating story.
Champion Sports & Greatest Games, is on Wednesday, August 12, from 10am–11.30am
Children can find out who can run the fastest, and who has scored the most football goals ever as well as making a finger football game and other fun activities.
Fabulous Fashions is being run on Wednesday, August 19, from 10am–11.30am. Take a look at some examples of fab fashions of the past and make a hat or headdress.
Jazzy Jewellery takes place on Wednesday, August 26, 10am–11.30am
Glitter, gold and gemstones – explore the jewellery that people have worn throughout time and handle some replica jewellery that Romans, Anglo Saxons and others would have liked to wear. Make a necklace or friendship bracelet to take away.
