FOUR creative Christmas card designs have been hand picked by Cllr Mayor Kathryn Lawrence on behalf of the Friends of St Cross. The Mayor’s chosen charity’s Christmas card competition had 125 entries from four schools.

The overall winner was Sam Beasley, seven, of Boughton Leigh Junior. The runners up were Emily Beasley, seven, of Boughton Leigh, Jade Ablett, nine, of Newbold Riverside and Nia Jones, five, of Brownsover Community school. June Witcomb, of Friends of St Cross, thanked those who entered and said the visit to the Mayor’s parlour was a fantastic experience for the winners.
