An award-winning care home will be taking part in a company-wide In Bloom competition tomorrow (Tuesday).
Anya Court in Rugby will be judged for the Hallmark in Bloom competition for the first time since it opened in October last year.
Hallmark in Bloom is an annual competition held by the care home provider to find the greenest garden in the country.
The competition entrants include all 17 of the Hallmark Care Homes across England and Wales and each home is judged on categories ranging from ‘Best Whole Home Effort’ to ‘Best Resident Engagement.’
Judges include Hallmark Care Homes Managing Director, Avnish Goyal and Training and Education Officer, Damien Newman from Thrive, which is a gardening charity that promotes the therapeutic benefits of gardening for the elderly.
The judging day at the home is also an opportunity for visitors to get involved and enjoy the weather.
This year, visitors can participate in a sport’s day activity at the home.
Games will include quoits, lawn darts, croquet and bean bag throwing with medals available for the winners.
If you wish to RSVP to the event contact the home on (01788) 811976 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
