PIZZA Express is coming to Rugby and to celebrate we’re offering five prizes of a meal for two worth £40 in our great competition.

The new branch opens on Saturday after a major refit at its High Street premises.

To be in with a chance of claiming a prize, simply answer the question below and send us your details by next Wednesday. The winners will be drawn at random.

Diners will have the chance to taste pizzas devised by TV cook Valentine Warner at Pizza Express’ all-new restaurant.

All the popular Pizza Express favourites will be available prepared on site using fresh ingredients. There are plenty of options, including Valentine Warner’s intensely flavoured punchy puttanesca.

Pizza Express Rugby manager Carl Kelly said: “We are really looking forward to coming to Rugby. We would like as many people as possible to visit our new restaurant.

“I am sure they will enjoy the experience and watching their pizzas being made to order.”

Pizza Express has more than 400 restaurants across the United Kingdom. Founded in 1965 by Peter Boizot, Pizza Express’ first restaurant opened its doors in Wardour Street in the heart of the capital.

Every pizza is handmade, prepared in an open kitchen.

Question: In which city did Pizza Express open its first branch in the 1960s?

Send your answer along with your name, address and daytime phone number to Pizza Express competition, Rugby Advertiser, 2 Albert Street, Rugby CV21 2RS by Wednesday July 4.
