A suspected conman has been foiled twice while targeting the homes of elderly people in Rugby.
Between 10.45am and 11am on October 1, a man entered the home of an elderly person in Park Road and stated that the roof needed repairing. He then walked through the house opening cupboards before leaving when a visitor arrived. Nothing was stolen.
And at around 1.45pm on October 1, a man attempted to enter the home of another elderly person in nearby Holbrook Avenue and stated that the roof required work. The resident refused to let the man in, and he made off.
