This is continued growth in the number of sales and lettings in the first half of what initially looked to many to be a tentative year – and there appears no sign of a let up in transactions.
“Many properties are being snapped up on the first viewing,” said office manager Ian Mills.
“Many people are missing out and then regretting it. We are seeing a real increase in activity on both sides of the business – there’s a real buzz in the office. We are finding more and more that we have several people fighting over the same property.”
The Henry Street firm, currently ranked fourth in Rugby on the independent review website All Agents, put the success down to their excellent customer service and the relationship with both buyers and sellers.
“We take time to get to know everybody and are always honest and up front with them,” said partner Tracy Thornton.
“This makes it easier to match the property to the right buyer or tenant, and then we can get people moving faster. After 25 years in the industry I still feel elated when I tie a sale up.”
