An inquest has been opened and adjourned into the death of a Rugby teenager who died in a road crash last week.

The office of HM Coroner at the Warwickshire Justice Centre said this morning (Wednesday) that an inquest had been opened and adjourned into the death of Oliver Hawker from Rugby who died following a road traffic collision in Rugby on April 3.

Oliver, 17, died on Wednesday last week during a crash in Parkfield Road when a van lost control and collided with a lamppost just after 4.30pm.
