New Directions’ first craft fair at its new Albert Street premises ‘The Exchange’ was a huge success, raising vital funds for the learning disability charity.

There were 14 stalls selling a wide range of quality and handmade items including jewellery, upcycling, cards, crafts and cakes.

The next craft fair will be held on December 12 between 11am and 4pm.

A stallholder space costs £10 and table hire costs £15.

Proceeds from hire go directly to the charity and admission to the fair is free.

Manager Laura Nisbet said: “This success of our first craft fair demonstrates The Exchange’s potential to provide the local community with quality events through the use of its rooms for community events.”
