Dozens of cannabis plants found during by police raids in and around Rugby

CANNABIS plants and factories have been uncovered in Clifton, New Bilton and Long Lawford during the last week.

Three large cannabis plants were found growing in a garden on Furrow Close. The plants were siezed by officers from the Safer Neighbourhood team and destroyed.

During a raid at a house in Torrance Road, New Bilton police found a cannabis factory.

There were more than 45 cannabis plants being grown and various electrical equipment that was used to help cultivate them.

One man has been arrested for cultivation of cannabis and further investigations are ongoing.

Another cannabis factory was also found at a house in Long Lawford. Two people were arrested.
