Homes across Rugby targeted by thieves

Police in Rugby are warning people about a number of burglaries that have happened in the town during the last couple of weeks.

Thieves got into a house in Old Farm Close, Cawston, during the night of March 14 and 15. Keys to an Audi were stolen and the car was then driven off the driveway.

During the night of March 17 and 18 a pane of glass was removed from the conservatory of a home in Alwyn Road, Bilton. Another window was also smashed but they were unable to get inside and nothing was stolen.

At some point before 3.30pm on March 17 burglars kicked the front door of a home in Kennedy Drive, Rugby. This caused damage to the door but the offenders failed to get into the house and nothing was stolen.

Burglars got into a house in Glebe Crescent through the patio doors sometime before 12.30pm on March 16. They made an untidy search and stole several items.
