POLICE are continuing with their investigations into the death of a teenager in Rugby.
Officers were called to an ‘incident’ at an address in Claremont Road in Rugby at 10.30am on Friday last week.
Paramedics took the teenager, who has not yet been named by police, by ambulance to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
But despite attempts to save him, he was later declared dead.
A 47-year-old man was arrested on Friday in connection with the death and was questioned by officers.
He was released on police bail pending further enquiries on Saturday.
The death was initially being treated by police as ‘unexplained’.
The Warwickshire force has not given any more indication about what happened.
A police spokesman said: “A post mortem took place on Sunday. Further tests are being carried out to establish what caused the teenager’s death.
“This may take several weeks.”
