Thieves break into two Rugby homes through back garden

Two homes in Rugby were broken-into through the garden with a number of items stolen from both on Sunday (March 19).

Offenders entered the rear garden of a property in Brocket Place, Cawston, at some point between midnight and 2pm.

They forced open the rear UPVC door, causing considerable damage to the door and frame.

Once inside the house, the offenders carried out an untidy search of the whole premises before making off with several items.

Later that day, thieves forced their way into a home in Hawlands by breaking open a panel on the rear UPVC door after entering through an insecure side between 5.20pm and 8.40pm.

The offenders searched the place before making off with a quantity of cash and items of jewellery.
