A litter of kittens abandoned in a plastic box without air holes have been rescued in Rugby.

A member of the public found the kittens, thought to be six or seven weeks old, and took them to Bilton Veterinary Centre.

There are three males and two females.

Despite the ordeal, one of the kittens managed to ‘photobomb’ its siblings and show its playful side.

Staff at Bilton Veterinary Centre said the kittens were in good health and have been interacting well.
