A CYCLIST was air lifted to hospital after a collision in Newton Manor Lane on Wednesday morning.
The collision occurred at about 12.20am and involved a bicycle and a silver Ford saloon car.
The 48 year old male cyclist was airlifted to university hospital, Coventry with suspected broken arm and other fractures. He had been travelling with another cyclist at the time of the incident. He and the driver of the car were not injured. Officers investigating the incident would like to hear from anyone who witnessed it or saw either the car or bicycle before the incident occurred.
