A cyclist landed on a car bonnet after a collision - and the driver failed to stop.

The incident happened on Wednesday October 29 at around 5.40pm.

A 25-year-old man from Rugby, was riding his bike from the direction of Murray Road intending to carry on across the roundabout towards Lower Hillmorton Road.

As the cyclist was passing the Clifton Road junction on the roundabout, he was in a collision with a silver car.

The victim landed on the bonnet of the vehicle and sustained minor injuries to his leg. The vehicle failed to stop after the collision.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or for the driver of the silver vehicle, to contact 101 quoting incident 164 of Thursday 30 October.
