A DANCE troupe from Rugby has been entertaining crowds at Port Aventura in Spain after being invited to perform at the resort’s theme park.

Speaking after the youngsters had entertained a crowd of locals and tourists, Hayley Slater, of Impact Dance, congratulated her students on putting on a great performance. She said: “They did an amazing job out there and we had some great feedback of lots of people – both off the audience who we performed in front of and Mardi Gras, the company who helped us to organise the trip.

“It took about six months to prepare for it, but the hard work paid off. They did a great job representing themselves and Rugby and next year we will be performing at the Royal Albert Hall as part of the London 2012 celebrations.”
