LEARNING how to save lives and being aware of dangerous creatures - it’s all in a week’s work at Long Lawford Primary School.

Two visitors were welcomed to the school last week and first up was Anthony James from Creaturama, who worked with a Year Five class to draw and design dangerous creatures, which they later built out of recycled materials.

Headteacher Rob Morrissey said: “The day was a great success with one boy remarking that he couldn’t wait to write up his learning from the day.”

The second visitor was Ray Kirton from St John’s Ambulance who worked with the children to gain their Young Lifesavers parts one and two.
