Rugby man Dean Wilson has more than doubled his target by raising £1,100 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
He said goodbye to his hair in memory of his uncle Phil Mushing who lost his battle with cancer ten years ago.
Dean wanted to raise £500 for charity by taking part in Brave the Shave at the Fighting Cocks pub last week.
“I’d like to thank everybody who supported me, it was a great night,” he said.
His dad Nathan said: “We had a great time, sharing the action as a live feed on Facebook.
“I know a lot of people around the world through friends and work, and we had viewers from Colorado, Texas, Dubai and South Korea as well as all over UK.”
Dean also offered people to wax his legs at £2 pound a strip which raised extra money.
“I am very very proud of my son,” said Nathan.
Dean is still appealing for sponsors to help people with cancer.
