Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision which occurred on Stoneleigh Road, Baginton on Thursday January 31.

The collision occurred at about 7.05pm near from the junction with Bubbenhall Road and involved a black Suzuki motorbike which was travelling towards Baginton.

The rider of the motorbike, a male in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His identity will not be released until the formal identification process has been completed and all close relatives have been informed.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the collision at this time.

PC Wayne Knight, in the Warwickshire Police Major Incident Unit (Roads), would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or saw the motorbike before the collision occurred.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “On arrival at the scene crews found a motorcyclist lying in the road after coming off his bike.

“Crews immediately assessed the man and full resuscitation attempts were carried out at the scene. Unfortunately despite best efforts nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.”
